Worldwide expertise
Global Focus Areas
Our work advances U.S. security, economic stability, and leadership across key regions:

Europe
ACCET partners with European governments and agencies to counter extremist networks, including ISIS-affiliated cells and far-right movements that threaten stability. Our cybersecurity initiatives help protect critical digital infrastructure, preventing cyberattacks that could impact the U.S. and its allies. By bolstering governance reforms and community engagement, we reinforce Europe’s role as a strong and stable partner to the United States in counterterrorism and defense.

Middle East & Asia
In regions affected by groups like ISIS and the Taliban, ACCET leads peacebuilding, economic recovery, and youth resilience initiatives to reduce the appeal of extremism. Our work strengthens governance and security partnerships, ensuring that fragile states do not become safe havens for terrorist groups that could threaten the U.S. and its allies. By fostering local stability, we create conditions that protect American investments and security interests.

Africa
ACCET combats threats from groups such as Al-Shabaab and Boko Haram, preventing their expansion and disrupting recruitment pipelines that could reach the U.S. Our initiatives focus on strengthening governance, fostering economic resilience, and improving local security capacities, ensuring that instability does not spread to regions vital to U.S. trade and diplomatic relations. By reinforcing African governments’ ability to counter threats independently, we reduce reliance on U.S. military intervention and safeguard American security interests abroad.

Kosovo: Building Stability and Cyber Resilience in the Balkans
As a key player in Kosovo’s post-war legal and governance framework, ACCET has ensured inclusive representation and stability in a region critical to U.S. and NATO interests. Our work in drafting Kosovo’s first National Cybersecurity Strategy directly strengthens digital defenses against state-sponsored cyber threats, protecting regional allies and securing America’s position as a leader in global cybersecurity initiatives. Additionally, our strategic communication campaigns educate youth on countering extremist narratives, reducing vulnerabilities that could threaten U.S. and European security.
Albania: Supporting U.S. Interests in EU Expansion and Regional Stability
ACCET has been instrumental in Albania’s path to European Union integration, a process that enhances regional stability, economic growth, and alignment with U.S. geopolitical objectives. Through election observation and governance reforms, ACCET has strengthened political accountability, ensuring that Albania remains a reliable partner for the United States and its European allies.
Georgia: Defending Against Cyber Threats and Strengthening Regional Security
In Georgia, ACCET has played a pivotal role in enhancing cybersecurity infrastructure to protect against digital threats from adversarial states. Our thorough Gap Analyses of the National Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Security Law helped align Georgia’s defenses with EU and NATO standards, ensuring that U.S. allies remain resilient against cyber warfare and digital espionage. By reinforcing both National and Sectorial CERTs (Computer Emergency Response Teams), ACCET strengthens the broader security framework that protects U.S. interests in the region.
Our Programs.
Middle East & Asia.

Syria: Undermining Extremist Networks and Preventing ISIS Resurgence
ACCET is on the frontlines of counterterrorism in Syria, actively working to reintegrate Al-Hol camp returnees, a population that has been a primary target for ISIS recruitment. By fostering social cohesion among returnees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and host communities, ACCET has helped disrupt ISIS recruitment pipelines and prevent the spread of extremist ideology.
Through these efforts, ACCET directly contributes to regional stability, which is essential for preventing Syria from becoming a breeding ground for terrorism that threatens the United States and its allies.
Kazakhstan: Strengthening U.S. Partnerships by Promoting Democratic Stability
Kazakhstan plays a strategic role in U.S. interests in Central Asia, particularly in countering Russian and Chinese influence. ACCET has worked extensively to empower civil society, combat corruption, and promote political stability, ensuring that Kazakhstan remains an independent and reliable partner to the United States.
By strengthening democratic governance and reducing ethnic tensions, ACCET supports a stable, pro-Western Kazakhstan that aligns with U.S. security and economic interests in the region.
Jordan: Countering Extremism and Securing Regional Stability
Jordan is a key U.S. ally, and ACCET’s work directly supports American national security priorities. Our initiatives in Jordan have included:
Empowering the Next Generation: ACCET designed USAID’s flagship youth initiative, which has provided 800,000 young people with career guidance, economic opportunities, and civic engagement tools—helping prevent extremism by offering alternatives to radicalization.
Undermining Al Qaeda and ISIS Influence: ACCET has actively countered terrorist recruitment and propaganda, helping to insulate Jordan from regional instability.
Promoting Civic Engagement and Social Resilience: By fostering social cohesion and civic education, we strengthen Jordan’s internal stability, ensuring it remains a strong U.S. partner in the region.
